Notice Board MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS 2012 Subscriptions are now overdue and the period for the reduced subs ends this Monday April 30th. After that the subs will be £30. Also, until they are paid - as non payment means people are no longer members, guest fees of £5 will need to be paid instead of a token. LEEDS CONGRESS 2012 The Leeds Congress 2012 will be held on Sunday 20 May 2012 starting at 1pm. This is a Swiss Pairs event, competing for the Leeds Bridge Club Shield with prizes for the leading pairs. The entry fee is £36 per pair, which includes a substantial buffet meal with vegetarian food. Download an entry form. SUMMER SEMINARS 2012 Chairman Derek Fraser will be running another six week programme of summer seminars, commencing on 16 May. These are aimed at average club players and the fees will be £3.00 for members and £5.00 for visitors. The sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 12:00. Club member without a partner or a visitor to Leeds?

On Tuesdays and Thursdays you can now come to the Club and be guaranteed a game.

Simply turn up at 7.15, talk to the TD and meet your partner in the bridge room.

Monday Morning CHICAGO Bridge 10-30 to 12-30

All levels of ability are welcome and no partner is required.

Tables are arranged by playing level and help is on hand for improvers.

Monday at 7:30pm

1) A main section for Duplicate Bridge Pairs

It is normally best to come along with a partner, although it is worth checking with Anne Mackman
(0113 2037821) or Christina Turner (01937) 579438 in advance, just in case someone else is looking for a partner.

Tuesday at 7:30pm

1) The Main section: Duplicate pairs each week.

Wednesday at 7:30pm

1) Duplicate Pairs or Teams of 4 are played on Wednesdays. Please check the Calendar. *

* In June, July and August, every Session is a Pairs event

2) Intermediate pairs (Improvers+) every Wednesday evening (come along with or without a partner).
Each week will start with a short topic at 7:15 prompt, followed by playing Bridge. Contact Gill or Steve Mapstone for further details, Leeds 293 7986

Thursday at 7:30pm Duplicate pairs each week.

Saturday at 7:30pm A more relaxed duplicate Bridge evening.
