BridgeMate Electronic Scoring and Duplimator

We now use the BridgeMate Electronic Scoring system after we had a working demonstration at the club.  As a result of its success and popularity, the members gave their support to pursue with the purchase.

The BridgeMate provides instant scoring on the evening and also saves a lot of time manually scoring, with improved accuracy.  It has been designed by the World Bridge Federation with some international congresses now using this exclusively. Leeds Bridge Club was the first club in Yorkshire to start using the Bridgemates.  We purchased 24 hand units (one for each table)

BridgeMate Duplimator

We also purchased a Duplimating machine.  The Duplimator automatically deals the cards and puts them into the boards. It means no more shuffling and there will be a hand/deal printout sheet at the end of the event. Ilkley Bridge Club regularly uses their Duplimator and YCBA now use a Duplimator for all of their events. This equipment is ideal when we have large events or Trophy evenings, when we can have two sections all playing the same hands.
