Whilst the bridge club has been closed the 'Training and Development' team has reviewed its training activity options and has designed a programme of events to specifically meet the needs of our members.
These 40-minute events are every two weeks and are delivered via 'Zoom', a cloud-based video conferencing facility which we have used successfully to manage club competitions. 'Zoom' is free and is very simple to join.
Our first event took place on Tuesday, 26 May 2020 when Nick Woolven gave an informative presentation on 'Doubles of Stayman and Transfers'. The event was restricted to members who had signed up for the initial club seminar in order for us to test the process. Some of our previous seminars have been restricted to members who signed up for our 'Teams Training Programme' but our current seminars are open to everybody.
