Several of our members were successful at the Harrogate Spring Congress which was held from Friday, 8 February to Sunday, 10 February 2019.  First place positions were taken by Joan and Brian Eager in the Improvers’ Pairs, Kevin Higgins and Julian Hayward in the Open Pairs and Fiona Brown and Mike Levi in the Mixed Pairs.  Sarah Teshome and her team came second out of fifty in the Swiss Teams and Alan Hayward, Tom Copeland, Phil Morrison and Alan Jarvis were third in the same event.  Congratulations to them all.
